Simple Lite Side Frames

Rockdoor Simple Lite glass designs are available with stunning matching sideunits & fanlights for both the Sunrise and Star Lite composite door collections.

Maximum Light, Maximum Privacy

Simple Lite side units feature the same technique as the door design itself, using a liquid pattern which is applied to stylish satin glass to let maximum light in and keep prying eyes out. The sunlight entering through Simple Lite glass is diffused so it is soft - yet natural - and will permeate further into the room than standard opaques or patterned glass would permit.

Perfect Front Doors

The matching sideunit glass pattern is a great way to show off your front doors natural beauty, without having to worry about your privacy. Many other composite door manufacturers avoid offering matching glass sideunits as they are difficult to produce, and therefore opt for infill sidepanels which match the door. At Rockdoor we firmly believe that using glass sideunits is the best way to show off your door to make your entrance look stunning.

Front Door Combinations

Many combinations are possible, whether it's for a small window to the side of your front door, or full length sideunits either side. Whichever combination you choose, you can be sure your door will be the envy of your neighbours.

Minimum and Maximum Sizes

Your Rockdoor installer will guide you through what is and isn't achievable, once they have measured the apertures of your existing front door which is to be replaced. Minimum and maximum sideunit and fanlight sizes apply. To design your own front door please click here.

U Values

Both the Rockdoor and sideunits are Document L Compliant. To achieve a low U - Value, the sideunits are filled with Argon Gas to help improve the thermally efficiency of your home. Argon gas is denser than natural air meaning any heat loss is far less through the glass.
