Choosing French Doors
Fri 2nd Jul 2010
Choosing your upvc French Doors wisely from the outset, will ensure you are happy with the style, functionality and overall look of the finished product once it’s installed. It’s important your upvc French Door works in harmony with your property.
Whilst the range of options for our French Doors is impressive, we don’t offer varying levels of security, as security comes as standard with all our doors. We genuinely believe our French Doors are the strongest, the most robust and most stylish upvc French Doors available.
French Door colours.
Rockdoor French Doors are available in a choice of 10 colours to ensure you choose the perfect colour for your property – inside and out. The most common French Door colour is White, but many homes perfectly suit natural wood effects such as Rosewood and Light Oak as they very often compliment to brick colour. Black and Grey French Doors are becoming increasing popular for slightly more contemporary homes, as are Red Greens and Blues.
NB, Red Green, Blue and Grey colours are only available with White outerframes.
French Door openings.
You only have 2 options of either opening inwards or opening outwards. Opening inwards is ideal if you don’t want to open onto paths, but remember this when planning furniture requirements for the inside of the property. Opening outwards is perfect if the room they open from is short of space.
French Doors styles
Whilst the moulding styles for our French Doors stay the same, your installer can provide detailed options where side frames and/or side windows are required.
