Rockdoor, A Cut Above the Rest
Tue 5th Jan 2010
Rockdoor has once again taken the initiative by launching a new glazing aperture which is the first of its kind in the UK. The unique product perfectly blends the glass design with the door mouldings to provide an improved overall appearance.
New CNC machinery was installed at the company's Blackburn headquarters specifically to produce this new aperture which creates a traditional look and stylish finish to the doors as well as making it stronger. The innovative ‘PressGlaze' production technique used eliminates the need for unsightly ‘clip on' glazing cassettes which are common on GRP and most other composite doors.
For customers this new design will be an additional asset when selling Rockdoors as it features a decorative bead as well as improved wood-effect embossing further adding to the finished look.
The design and specification of the apertures conform to British Safety Standards and they are produced using Heat Shield Technology. This protects the product from bending, warping and cracking even under the most extreme weather conditions providing customers with additional guarantees as well as complete peace of mind.
Mark Simm, Sales Director, Rockdoor comments, "This new glazing aperture demonstrates our commitment to innovation and providing customers with key competitive advantages they expect from Rockdoor and that will help gain them sales. Our customers can sell against glazing cassettes which are prone to discoloration and leaking, not to mention the contrast between the male and female mouldings"
