Find Rockdoor composite doors on Pinterest to help inspire you

Over the past few years, Pinterest has boomed in popularity with over 440 million monthly active users according to statista.com.

Whilst Pinterest is behind the likes of Instagram, Facebook and Twitter in terms of active users, it is popular amongst those looking for inspiration on a whole host of things along with sharing their own passions and interests. Whether you need inspiration for choosing a new exterior door for your home, or how to make the perfect dinosaur cake for your little ones birthday – there really isn’t much that Pinterest’s legions of fans haven’t covered.

In case you’ve never heard of Pinterest

Pinterest is essentially an online version of a scrapbook, where you can collate images you’ve found online, uploaded yourself or even found on Pinterest itself. You can then save or rather ‘pin’ these images on Pinterest on your own profile.

Some Pinterest users, use it to save inspiration for an up-coming wedding, others for healthy food recipes, cooking tips and inspiration. And not forgetting home decoration and interior design inspiration for their homes. Of course you’re not limited to these suggestions.

Some of our followers, particularly those that are looking for a new composite doors will often use the images of our customer’s doors that we’ve uploaded (or rather ‘pinned’ as they term it), to help inspire them when they’re looking for a new door for their own homes.

For instance, our doors come in a range of colours and door styles, so you may wish to organise your Pinterest boards by design inspiration such as the door types, whether that be front doors, back doors, double doors, French doors or stable doors.

Or of course, you may wish to organise your inspiration by colour if you’re still not settled on a door style but have already decided on a colour.

How Rockdoor uses Pinterest

We find Pinterest to be a great way to share our images with homeowners looking for inspiration for their new external composite doors. You take a look at the Rockdoor Pinterest page to see some of our customer’s door installations that our installers and homeowners have shared with us. Or if you’d rather, you can view them on our very own customer door gallery here on our website too.

We don’t just reach our homeowners with our Pinterest account though, we also interact with our installers and see the beautiful pictures they take of newly installed Rockdoor’s up and down the UK!

It’s the perfect way for homeowners to see our doors and get ideas for their own homes. Like many of the homeowners who have a Pinterest account, we have separate boards for all of our different colours, from anthracite grey to white and ruby red to Chartwell green.

Without a doubt, our most popular boards are our anthracite grey door board, black door board and Irish oak door board which work hand in hand with our best selling coloured doors, with the images being repined thousands of times across the world. But of course, these aren’t the only colours we have. With 28 door styles available in 13 different colours, there really is something to suit every home.

Our most popular door on Pinterest has to be this black Newark with lantern glass. It’s an absolutely stunning picture and has even made an appearance in our upcoming brochure!

The Newark is quite traditional in design, often chosen for 1930’s renovation projects where homeowners want the security of a composite door but keeping the properties style intact. It is nice to see that traditional doors are still just as stylish and on trend as contemporary composite doors such as our Vogue, Vermont and Indiana.
