Unlike ordinary doors, Rockdoor isn’t made from timber. It’s a fully engineered composite system, reinforced with aluminium and uPVC profiles combined with high-density Polyurethane foam (PU) foam to stand up to forced entry.

Engineered for strength
Every Rockdoor features a continuous aluminium box section around the entire door sash. These box sections, with a 10 mm-thick leading edge, are mitred at each corner to form a full loop of reinforcement, preventing bowing, bending, or deflection over time. This allows us to offer a No Bow Guarantee on all doors.
Aluminium resists moisture and won’t warp like timber, providing a solid foundation. Hinges, glazing units, and locking straps are all fixed directly into the aluminium frame, enhancing durability and overall security.
The German-engineered multi-point locking system is fully integrated into the frame. Steel hooks engage multiple points along the door, with full-length keeps providing stronger engagement than standard pocket-style keeps. This design distributes locking points evenly, offering superior resistance against forced entry.
Police approved design
Every Rockdoor is available with Secured by Design (SBD) accreditation — the official UK Police initiative that recognises the very best in home security.
That means our doors are tested, proven, and trusted to stand up to real-world break-in attempts. From drilling and crowbar attacks to forced entry, Rockdoors are built to keep intruders out and give you complete peace of mind.
We’re proud to have been the first in the industry to achieve Secured by Design accreditation for French and double doors, setting the benchmark for the entire composite door market.
Deluxe hinges
Rockdoor hinges are fixed directly into the aluminium frame, carrying the door’s weight rather than relying solely on screws. Teflon bushes reduce friction for smooth operation over time. This design improves durability and ensures the hinge side of the door is as secure as the lock side.
S-Glaze technology
Rockdoor’s exclusive S-Glaze integrates the glass unit between the door’s skins, making it part of the structure rather than a separate add-on. This eliminates weak points where panels can be removed and improves thermal performance by removing draught paths common with the cassette.
Keys & cylinders
Rockdoors feature TS007 3-star cylinders, the UK’s highest standard for euro-profile locks. Molybdenum-reinforced cams inside these cylinders enhance resistance to snapping, freezing, drilling, and picking. Each Rockdoor comes with three branded purple keys, designed to work seamlessly with its 3-star cylinder.
For extra protection, optional galvanised steel rods are embedded inside the foam core. This gives the inner core an extra level of security, in a similar way to reinforced concrete.
Rockdoor offers optional features such as key-wind locks, switch-latches or thumb-turns on the inside to accommodate different user needs.

All of our doors come protected with a 3 star cylinder, which has a built in "Active Snap Protection" technology with an advanced internal locking system that will prevent access into the inner workings of the door bolt if it has been snapped on the outside.
