Choosing the Right Door
During the renovation of her home, Anna wanted a door that would complement the hallway and the overall interior. Anna explored several window companies that quoted standard GRP composite doors, but none compared to the Newark from Rockdoor composite doors, which initially caught her attention for its period charm.

A Door to Last
She chose the Illinois door in Agate Grey, a modern shade that harmonised with the brickwork without being too dark. The clean finish paired beautifully with her décor, achieving the balance between contemporary elegance and natural tones she was looking for.
To complete the look, she opted for a simple escutcheon, centre knob, and bull ring knocker, creating an understated entrance.
“I wanted a door that was secure, reliable, and would last for the long term — this felt like the perfect choice,” Anna explained.
Practical Comfort at the Back
Anna loved her front door so much that she installed a Rockdoor Stable View Light on the back in her utility/laundry room. Perfect for her household, it allows her to keep pets safely inside while opening the top half for ventilation during laundry or chores.
