English Cottage Rockdoor in Irish Oak – December Winner

The December Share & Inspire Winner

Without a doubt, anthracite grey has been the most popular door colour with homeowners choosing it for their Rockdoors, a stark contrast from when we first started to manufacturer external doors over 25 years ago.

Back then we would be greeted by a sea of white and oak coloured doors when walking through our Lancashire based innovation and production centre. We just love to see how composite door, door styles change over the years.

During the past 12 months, a handful of people from the Rockdoor head office have clubbed together to choose our favourite Share & Inspire entry each month – it’s a tricky decision and not one that is instantly agreed on as there are so many deserving winners!

We get such a huge range of entries to our competition we see close to all of our door styles being entered each month, everything from the classic a black Carolina to an ultra-contemporary Irish oak Indiana and everything in between – making choosing the lucky winner more and more difficult each month.

Whilst we get a lot of front doors being entered to our competition, back doors, stable doors and French doors are all worthy entrants – so let’s see yours!

December’s Winner…

December saw an overwhelming amount of festively decorated Rockdoors, so, we obviously jumped at the chance to have one as a winner! This months deserving winner is this beautiful Irish oak English Cottage door. The Rockdoor was installed with two narrow glass side panels, but the whole door looks beautiful, tied together with this Christmas wreath – what more could you want?!

The door seems to suit the style of the property perfectly, with the traditional door design complementing the classic stone brickwork. The homeowner couldn’t be happier with his new Rockdoor composite door. After moving house and leaving his first Rockdoor, he made sure to have a front and back Rockdoor fitted on his new property as well.

The door was fitted by S.Hancock in Tingley.
