The January Share & Inspire Winner
All the decorations are down and we’ve been back at work long enough to need another break, in fact, if it wasn’t for the stacks of toys from Father Christmas cluttering up the living room and the kids bedrooms, we’d probably have forgotten that it ever happened!
Thanks to the Christmas period, we have received some beautifully dressed doors with wreaths and gorgeous Christmas themed potted plants and hanging baskets giving front and back doors a statement piece. Not matter what style or type of door you have, some festive decoration goes a long way to spread the Christmas cheer.
Wanting to have something to suit everyone at Rockdoor we manufacture composite doors in a range of styles including traditional styles such as our Cottage Spy View and stable doors to our more modern styles such as the Vermont, Vogue and Indiana. As we always say at Rockdoor, you can have style and security.
Whilst the majority of entries that we receive are our more modern styles, this month we seemed to have a flurry of our traditional style front doors and back doors. With all of our entries showing that traditional is both stylish and timeless.
Whilst rosewood was once the best selling door colour, we don’t get many rosewood door entries for our monthly Share & Inspire competition, but this month we received a striking image of a rosewood Carolina that looked fantastic and was complimented perfectly by its surroundings – although it was pipped to the post by another traditional styled door!
This month’s winning door was a black English Cottage. We chose this as our winner because not only is it a stunning classic door, but it looks amazing on the property. The house has as cottage style, with the traditional slate brick, making our English Cottage composite door the obvious choice.
A composite stable door (barn door) as a back door would be perfect next step, allowing fresh air and light flow through during the day, whilst keeping the house safe and secure at night.
The installer of this beautiful Rockdoor was LHS Construction in Christleton, Cheshire. A huge well done to the team – an absolutely fantastic installation!

Our final Share & Inspire
Unfortunately, this was our last ever Share & Inspire competition. We have loved every second of running Share & Inspire and want to thanks all our homeowners and installers for entering their stunning Rockdoor composite doors – we’ve loved seeing them all!
