There’s always a slight difference in the doors people choose during the different seasons. Getting a new composite door is much more common in the autumn and winter months as homeowners want to be rid of the draughts during the cold seasons. French doors peak in popularity in the spring and summer as that’s when they get the most use!
All of our door designs look fantastic whatever the month. A Chartwell Green Newark is calm and relaxing and looks perfect in the summer months, but just as good in the winter – the central knob is just asking for a Christmas wreath!
Over the past year we have received a momentous amount of Newark’s entered into the competition; however, this month is the first time one has claimed the prize! We’ve seen the Newark in every colour available and it suits them all, however, we thought this month’s Anthracite Grey thoroughly deserved to win.
Fitted with Bright Star glass and a central knob, the Rockdoor is finished with matching bespoke shaped frames.
Although we often consider that Anthracite Grey adds a contemporary feel to a property, the winning Newark has a very traditional feel to it. The Anthracite Grey sash with contrasting white frame gives the property a classic quality. The Newark with Brightstar glass a great design for 1930s style homes and the bespoke shaped frames emphasise the style even more.
The Rockdoor was fitted by Wallgate Windows in Wigan.
